Our Story 

TRJ Works LLC is an independent contractor serving the Chicago, Illinois area. Founder Teddy Jackson has been painting and renovating properties in Illinois since 1980.

Teddy entered the Washburn Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship Trade School in 1989 and graduated in 1992 with a Certification of Completion. Over the years, Teddy has held various responsibilities, including project manager, supervisor, and foreman positions for different companies. Teddy has been a union member under Painters District Council 14 for 33 years, attending meetings and volunteering for many charitable events.
